Greenbelt Press Chooses MagicBox™ as its Digital Distribution Platform Partner

    • MagicBoxTM has partnered with Greenbelt Press, a provider of custom course material. Greenbelt Press works with the faculty at the University of Texas, Austin, as the primary supplier of the varsity’s academic content.

    What Greenbelt Needed

    The publisher was on the lookout for a content distribution platform that could provide robust DRM solutions for digital versions of its custom-published law textbooks for the university. Through the deployment of a cost-effective digital rights management solution, they were looking to improve the monetization of their content and ensure secure content distribution.

    Having been into the publishing business for close to three decades, MagicBox™ specializes in protecting digital assets with the help of features such as protection against screen grabbing and copying/printing, and limited time and device access. The licensing and DRM solutions enable users to support various subscription models and licensing, and this was just what Greenbelt Press required.

    MagicBox™ will be setting up a white-label instance of the company’s web platform, along with a white-label eCommerce store for Greenbelt to provide branded content to their customers.
